How Do I Become A Member Of The Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society?

How do I join?

 The  Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society is once again accepting applications for new memberships at this time.  Please be aware that applications submitted are for consideration and that if approved you will be contacted  and given an invitation to join the Pa Bigfoot Society. Applying for membership does not guarantee approval.  Receiving an Invitation to join the PA Bigfoot Society is based upon us getting to  know the interested applicant and the applicant getting to know us.  Once we do, and we feel you are a good candidate to join, we will contact you and offer you an invitation to the PBS.  

 
                                                      How do we get to know you and you us? 

It's easy.  You submit your application to the PA Bigfoot Society and when we hold a public outing, expedition, hike or function, we will notify you about the event.  You will be invited to attend the event or function so members can get to know you and make sure you are a good fit with us and us with you.  We also notify the public of events and functions on our facebook page as well at 
www.facebook.com/pennsylvaniabigfootsociety.  Once the applicant has attended  a public function such as a Hike, Outing, Expedition or event and the group will make a determination if the interested applicant will receive an invitation to  join the PA Bigfoot Society.    All data collected for membership consideration is for an active member of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society. Your personal contact information will NOT be released.

 All  new members will be placed on a one year probationary period.  If probationary active members remain active for the year, you will be made an active member.   We welcome any interested parties on day hikes with us or public outings to give those interested a chance to see what we are about and if joining the PBS is the right decision for you.  Unlike other organizations we do not charge to attend public functions, outings, hikes or expeditions.

How much does it cost to join?

Dues for 2013 are $10.00 per person.  Dues are only due after membership applications have been reviewed and an invitation to join the PBS has been extended to the applicant.  Please do not submit any money or pay online on our pay pal website.  If you do so before your application has been approved and your membership invitation is extended, you will be refunded your money.  Dues go to cover the cost of Website maintenance fees, hosting, the web creator and other operating costs.  If you have any questions, please contact us at
