The son of the witness of the March 12 report was getting out of his car when he heard something almost like talking in a high pitch vocal, but it sounded like jibberish. He listened to it for about 1 minute but got nervous and went into his house, about 75 yards away. .

1996, 3 miles south of West Newton: A man was walking his dog when he first noticed an odor and then he observed a 7 to 8 foot tall creature standing in front of him on the trail. It had dark brown hair with short hair on its forehead. The creatures face had large round brown eyes, and a long nose that was not very wide. October 2, 1994 (Sunday): between Monroeville & Somerset on the PA turnpike: It was near sunset, but still light outside. The two females (from Canton Ohio) were at a picnic table along the turnpike when they heard something big and heavy coming down a steep, wooded hillside toward them. They saw only one creature, dark brown in color. The creature was walking on two legs, standing between 8 to 9 feet tall and came within 20 feet of the witnesses. They observed the creature for about 1 to 2 minutes. The creature stopped at the bottom of the hill and while partially concealing its face with its hands, turned and stared at the witnesses. It had an ape-like face, but no saggital crest. Its expression was frightening and mean looking. It had large, piercing eyes, a flat nose, a large mouth showing some teeth, large hands with 5 fingers and male genitalia. No odors were noticed and they didn't look for footprints. February 3 1991, near Darlington: It was early am when high pitched screams were heard. When the witness looked outside he saw a five foot tall hairy bi-ped with glowing red eyes. May 10 1988, Ligonier Township: near Rector: It was a cool, overcast morning when the witness was walking a dog and noticed what appeared to be a very hairy man by a grapevine. But when the witness blew his dog whistle, he realized it was not a man. The creature then turned and walked away. March 1987 near Donegal: A man driving westbound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike witnessed a creature running in a field. The creature ran up an embankment, crossed in front of his van at a very close distance. The creature crossed the guardrail and across the east bound lanes of traffic, causing a car to swerve and wreck into the guardrail. 1983 Luxor: A man and a woman were in a wooded are in Luxor. In the distance they saw what appered to be large man approaching. The witness stood up and came face to face with a large bipedal hair covered creature. He was so close, he could see the veins in the creatures eyes. He also described the creature as being partially hair covered and having oily and wrinkled skin. Its nose was small like a man, ets lips were blood red and human like and its eyes were brown and blood shot. It had long arms and large muscles. Its chest stuck out further than its head did. When it opened its mouth, it was four to five times wider than a humans. The creature let out a scream that vibrated the mans chest. It then turned and loped off at a very fast rate of speed. It ran to the top of a hill where it stopped, turned and raised its arms as if to challenge the man.

near West Newton 1975 or 1974: A witness was watching television when he heard a noise on the back porch. When the witness went to the doorway to see out the back door, he saw a big hairy thing standing on two legs looking through the screen door at him. The witness ran back to the living room and grabbed a loaded 22 caliber hand gun. He then fired through the screen door at the creature and the creature ran off screaming. A neighbor heard the shots and then the scream. At that time he turned on all the lights in the house and outside but could see nothing. The next day they went to the area to see if they could see anything. No clear footprints were found but you could see that something big had ran through the grass. 1969 or 1970 West Newton: A group of young boys were walking home from fishing on the railroad tracks. They were followed by a dark figure that crossed the railroad tracks. The figure had very large arms that hung down below its knees.

1945 near West Newton: Two men out hunting hear strange cry. An unknown animal attacked the men’s pack of hunting dogs. They did not see what animal attacked the dogs.
